IMPORTANT: - an NTSC capable TV is required, due to the way the PSP is designed. PAL is the standard in NZ, but many NZ TVs also support NTSC. - the oldest PSPs don't support TV out - Not sure if it will fit the 'PSP GO'(this is a very different model, it doesn't use UMD disks & looks very different to normal PSPs)
PSP-2000 series (example: PSP-2001PB) = only outputs movies/videos, not games. You can use a 'homebrew'(unlicensed) firmware that allows you to play games on TV as well however. PSP-3000 series (example: PSP-3002PB) = works fine for both games & movies/videos
Brand new PSP AV & S-Video cable used to connect your PSP to the TV/vcr/stereo etc.
Cable has PSP plug at one end, & 1 S-Video, 1 RCA video(yellow plug, composite video), 2 RCA audio(stereo) plugs at the other end.
Can use either Composite Video or S-Video plug for video.
Composite video is the most common video standard, the vast majority of TVs & VCRs have RCA sockets to match plug on this cable. S-Video is less common, but gives a better picture, as S-Video cables carry parts of the video signal(Luma & Chroma) seperately. Composite video combines all of the signal, resulting in image degradation. Anything with an S-Video in socket can be used with the s-video plug on this cable
Cable length: 2.4m
