*IMPORTANT: - Please note that s-video will apparently only work with NTSC(USA,Japan) Wii consoles. NZ uses 'PAL' standard, not NTSC. - Composite(plain/common video type = yellow plug) video will work fine with any model Wii though.
Brand new Wii AV & S-Video cable used to connect your Wii to the TV/stereo etc. Good quality cable, nice & chunky. Cable length: 170cm
Cable has Wii plug at one end, & 1 S-Video, 1 RCA video(yellow plug, standard 'composite' video), 2 RCA audio(stereo) plugs at the other end.
Can use either Composite Video or S-Video plug for video.
Composite video is most common video standard, the vast majority of TVs & VCRs have RCA sockets to match plug on this cable. Composite video will work fine with any model Wii.
S-Video is less common, but gives a better picture, as S-Video cables carry parts of the video signal(Luma & Chroma) seperately. Composite video combines all of the signal, resulting in image degradation. Anything with an S-Video in socket can be used with the s-video plug on this cable. ->As above however, s-video will apparently only work with NTSC(USA,Japan) Wii consoles(NZ uses 'PAL' standard)
Plugs into the 'AV Multi Out' socket on the back of your Wii, just like the plain AV cables that come with the machine when you buy it.
