Brand new cable - for data transfer and charging for PSP (Playstation Portable), or charging a Playstation3 controller. Cable length: 120cm
Info is in 2 sections - one for PSP info, & the other for PS3 controller info.
- - - - - - - PSP:
Data transfer: Can connect to PlayStation 3 system or a PC to move pictures, videos and other compatible files between them. Transfer game addons to your PSP, download on your computer than transfer to PSP - eg: Gamma Pack 2 for WipEout Pure Transfer data from your Computer = images, music(MP3), video etc - BUT which files you can use will depend on the PSP. I think you would need a memory stick(for storage) in the PSP before you could transfer files to the PSP. Transfer files back from your memory stick in the PSP to the computer. Compatible with Windows ME, 2000, XP. I suspect it will work with Windows 98, Vista, Windows 7 etc too. (compatibility is dependant on the PSP, not the cable)
Charging: This cable can also be used to charge your PSP from any USB port. This means you can charge your PSP from a PC, Playstation3, laptop computer etc. Particularly handy when travelling, as you could just charge it up by connecting to your laptop computer. From what I've read it will completely charge your PSP battery in a maximum of 3 hours. PSP-2000, PSP-3000 NOTE: Information I've found says these PSPs can be charged through the USB connector - if that's correct, you could connect just the USB plug for data transfer & charging.
'PSP GO'=can't be used with this, as apparently it has a different USB socket ('PSP GO' is a very different model, it doesn't use UMD disks & looks very different to normal PSPs)
- - - - - - - PLAYSTATION 3 CONTROLLERS:
Can be used to charge either a DualShock 3 or Sixaxis wireless controller(the official PS3 controllers). You can still use the controller while it's charging.
