Works with all models of Saturn, from info I've found. I've personally used one successfully on a Saturn with oval buttons, internal modchips don't usually(or possibly not at all) work with these !
Play Imports: Enables you to play imported(eg: Japan, USA) games on any model of Saturn(eg: NZ/PAL Saturn) No disk swapping, just put the imported disk in & press 'start' in the menu.
Memory manager: Can copy saves between the device & the Saturn system memory. You can't use saves on device in a game(unless you've copied them back to system memory first), it's just a place to backup your saves. 8190 blocks of memory for saved games (the saturn has 510 blocks of memory built into the system)
Cheats: You can select from a large list of game cheats, or add your own.
IMPORTANT: - From what I can tell this device doesn't support backups, at least not directly. Quite possibly you can use it do a disk swap with an original disk, but I haven't tried that. - Not compatible with games that require memory expansion cartridges.
Below info is here just to note any possible problem, though I wouldn't expect any problem to occur: These are a tight fit, particularly getting them out. It seems this might be caused by the PCB(circuit board) being thicker, apparently other cartridges with thick PCBs have caused the saturn slot to be unusable afterwards *BUT* I can't see any difference this cartridge has made to my own Saturn socket. I would imagine you would need to take it out & re-insert it very many times to cause any kind of problem. The worst I would expect would maybe be that you couldn't insert any other cartridges with thinner PCBs afterwards(doesn't look like it'd be a problem with my saturn tho) None of my buyers have reported any problems.
